the Office

The dental practice, recently renovated and regularly authorized by the Lazio Region for the provision of dental services, including advanced surgical ones, uses the most modern technologies in order to make the whole diagnostic-therapeutic path as easy as possible, for the patient and for the operator.

the Practice

First of all, you will have no difficulty in reaching the studio as it is located beside the Policlinico metro stop of line B, and is also easily connected by bus and tram. If you come with your car, you will have free parking.
Once inside the practice, you can enjoy a delicious Nespresso® coffee and read a newspaper, a weekly or a Mickey Mouse.
Or you can connect to the free wi-fi network.
All accompanied by splendid background music (ask what you want to listen to in the office: thanks to Spotify® our collection is practically infinite) and a delicious vanilla scent. And if you have just had a snack, don’t worry, ask at the front-desk for a disposable toothbrush.
The diagnostic process then begins with the collection of the anamnesis and with my visit.
Often I need radiographs to be able to formulate the most correct diagnosis, but rest assured, I will not slam you left and right: in the studio I have the most recent radiographic machines that allow me to perform digitally, which means with the minimum emission – and absorption – of X-rays, all dental radiographs: intraoral, orthopanoramic, cephalometry, up to 3D denta scan.

And once the diagnosis has been formulated and a treatment plan has been agreed, we move on to the work.

Where possible, I use disposable devices in order to avoid cross-contamination, and when it is not possible, my assistant and my attention is maximum in order to reduce the risk to levels almost close to zero.

During the execution of the treatments, if necessary, I make use of sedation with nitrous oxide and I always resort to the use of magnifying eye systems.

I also have a dental laser and a piezoelectric scalpel, which allows you to work in contact with the bone structures without risk for the adjacent soft tissues (I know, it’s a bit complicated to understand, but if you want to know more you just have to ask me) .

Finally, thanks to my management software, you will receive timely reminders of your appointments via e-mail, sms or WhatsApp.

The course center

The studio is equipped with a training room with thirty seats, video projection and HD audio / video connection with the operating rooms that allow me to perform Live Surgery operations.
There is also a break room for work breaks.

Since its inauguration, the course center has hosted, in addition to the implant prosthetic courses for dentists and dental practice assistants held by me and by Dr. Filippo Tomarelli: the basic and advanced courses in Implantology of Leone spa, held by Doctors Guerra, Belcastro and Palazzo; an update day with Dr. Daniele Cardaropoli on the management of extraction sockets (in collaboration with Geistlich Biomaterials); an in-depth evening on CurvoMax ™ pillars held by Dr. Gianluca Delli Ficorelli (in collaboration with Biomax – Biomet 3I); the first course in Rome on BeFiller fillers, held by Dr. Francesco Rossani and finally an evening, organized and held by me, of Introduction to the Invisalign Technique for non-Orthodontists.

The proximity to the Policlinico Metro stop of lines B and B1 – just two stops from Termini and Tiburtina stations -, the connection with bus and tram lines, the proximity to the East ring road and the contiguity with the Dental Clinic of the La Sapienza University make the Course Centre the ideal location for courses in Dentistry and more.

On request, it is possible to organize one-to-one courses in implant surgery, Invisalign technique and inhalation sedation for dentists.

Nearby hotels

The closest hotel is the 4 * Hotel Villa Morgagni (via G.B. Morgagni 25 – 00161 Rome – tel. 06 44202190). For this reason, and given the characteristics of the hotel, we have activated an agreement that allows us to have discounted rates for those who book by citing the Dr. Marano Course Center.

A possible alternative due to its proximity to the practice is Prime Hotel Villa Patrizi (via di Villa Patrizi 20 – 00161 Rome – tel. 06 44202499), also 4 *.

Another alternative (300 meters) is the Hotel Villa Torlonia (via Eustachio Bartolomeo 7 – 00161 Rome – tel. 06 4402333) or the Best Western Globus Hotel (viale Ippocrate 119 – 00161 Rome – tel. 06 4457001), approximately 800 meters away.

On request we can provide contacts for other hotels and B & Bs near the studio or, why not, in the city center.
